 Honda Civic Tour website A brief history lesson for those so inclined: In 2001, Honda teamed up with rockers blink-182 and Everclear to launch the first-ever Honda Civic Tour. We started this nationwide concert series so fans could see their favorite bands at low ticket prices. Over the past nine years, we've been thrilled to showcase The Black Eyed Peas, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco and many other amazing musicians. We're taking a year off in 2009, but don't miss our Heritage section to see the bands who've performed and the Civics they've customized. My take after the jump.
 Taking a year off! I know the economy isn't the best right now, but what better way is there to stimulate it than to spend some money? At the same time they'd be providing reduced cost tickets to America's youth. While disappointed at the outcome, I respect the decision Honda has gone with here, it is the responsible thing to do.
